Dubai Launches New Workforce Productivity System to Boost Government Efficiency
Dubai has launched a new ADP Workforce Productivity Measurement System, mandated by a resolution from H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The system aims to boost efficiency across government entities.
The system, introduced in phases under DGHR's supervision, will first assess productivity by comparing services delivered against workforce size, salaries, working hours, and other data. DGHR will manage and monitor the system, prepare a procedural guide, develop productivity indicators, and coordinate with financial authorities.
The Dubai Digital Authority will provide technical support, including expertise for the digital platform, data analysis tools, and system integrations. The General Secretariat of The Executive Council will oversee the classification and updating of government services, and work closely with relevant departments to provide technical support. All government entities must follow the procedural guide, provide accurate workforce and budget data, and implement productivity-enhancing initiatives.
The new system takes effect upon publication in the Official Gazette, nullifying any conflicting provisions. It is expected to enhance service delivery and financial efficiency across Dubai's government entities.
