Day after day, another design flaw surfaces in the Tesla Cybertruck model
The electric SUV, the Tesla Cybertruck, continues to face a series of problems, with panels falling off and deliveries being placed on hold.
The latest issue involves the decorative trim on the roof ledge of some Cybertrucks. According to reports, these trim pieces are detaching and are held on with glue. This problem has raised concerns on highways, as the trims could potentially cause hazards.
The 'grill' of the Cybertruck is another area of concern. Reports suggest that it is glued on and is reportedly almost flying off.
These issues have led Tesla to place a containment hold on Cybertruck deliveries. The company aims to fix the problem and avoid potential customer recalls.
The Cybertruck, which is marketed as bulletproof, has been the subject of laughter and design criticisms since its unveiling in 2020. Some people speculate that it was designed to troll consumers.
A recent article by Elektrek declared that the Cybertruck, marketed as the 'EV of the future', is a dud.
The delays in Cybertruck deliveries have been a common complaint among buyers. Many have reported delays in their orders on social media and Reddit. The production challenges, design revisions, and development of new manufacturing technologies have contributed to the five-year delay in deliveries.
Despite these issues, Tesla remains responsible for the quality control and repair of the Tesla stock's detailed roof parts, which slipped shortly after installation.
