Dallas-Fort Worth Donations Surpass $300M via Givelify
Dallas-Fort Worth has reached a significant milestone in charitable giving, thanks to Givelify, a leading online and mobile giving platform. The region has surpassed $300 million in donations, with over 2.8 million gifts from 80,000 donors since Givelify's founding.
Givelify's platform has been widely praised, with more than 104,000 verified, authentic reviews and an impressive average rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars. Dallas-Fort Worth is the second-largest market nationwide in terms of the number of gifts and donors, trailing only Atlanta.
The platform's success in the Dallas area is evident in its user base. Over 1,500 places of worship and nonprofits in Dallas use Givelify, contributing to its global community of nearly two million users who have donated over $6 billion since 2014. Givelify's latest tech innovation, Champions of Good, has doubled the number of consistent givers in Dallas and beyond.
Givelify's CEO, Wale Mafolasire, bootstrapped the company after selling his car to raise funds. He moved from Indiana to Dallas in 2017, making Dallas a key hub for Givelify's growth and impact. The city's large population, strong church community, and high adoption of digital giving platforms contribute to its importance for Givelify's revenue.
Givelify's success in Dallas is undeniable, with the city ranking among the company's top five U.S. markets by giving volume. The platform's innovative technology and user-friendly interface have not only facilitated generous donations but also fostered a culture of consistent giving in the community.
