Dacia Unveils Spring Facelift 2024: Affordable Electric Car With No Compromises
Dacia has unveiled the Spring Facelift (2024), an affordable electric car starting at €16,900. Despite its small size and battery, it offers no compromises in comfort and safety.
The Spring Facelift boasts a modern interior with a seven-inch digital speedometer and an optional ten-inch touchscreen display. Its exterior embraces Dacia's new design language, seen in the Duster, with a city map-like pattern in the bumpers.
The car offers ample trunk space, ranging from 208 to 1004 liters, and an additional small frunk under the hood. It's perfect for delivery services, car-sharing fleets, or mobile care vehicles. Despite its small 24.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, the Spring Facelift maintains a range of 225 km (WLTP) due to improved aerodynamics.
Dacia has equipped the Spring Facelift with new driver assistance systems, including automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane change warning, and lane keep assist. The entry-level powertrain accelerates from 80 to 120 km/h in 10.3 seconds, while the more powerful motor needs 6.9 seconds. DC charging power has been increased to 40 kW.
The Dacia Spring Facelift (2024) is the most affordable electric car on the market, offering a compelling mix of affordability, practicality, and safety features. Its improved aerodynamics and charging capabilities make it a practical choice for various purposes.
