Dacia Unveils New Duster Pick-up, Reviving Classic Lineage

The first Dacia pick-up, introduced in 1975, came in three body versions: 'Drop Side', a two-seater with a tailgate, and 'Double Cab', which could accommodate up to five people. The 'Drop Side' had a short cab and a wide loading area with foldable side walls.
The Dacia Logan Pick-up, introduced in 2008 and entering the German market in 2009, offered four diesel engines and a 1.6-litre petrol engine. Four-wheel drive was an option for this generation, produced until 2006. The loading area could accommodate objects up to 1.81 meters long and 1.37 meters wide, with a payload capacity of 725 kilograms.
The Renault Duster Oroch pick-up, based on the first Duster generation, was presented in Brazil in 2014 and has since received a facelift. The Dacia Duster Pick-up, based on the first SUV generation, was presented in 2014 with a 1.70-meter long loading area and a maximum payload capacity of 450 kilograms. A Duster pick-up variant based on the second generation was included in Dacia's official model range for the Romanian market in 2020.
The Dacia Duster Pick-up, based on the second-generation SUV, is the latest addition to Dacia's pick-up range. With a history dating back to 1975, Dacia continues to offer practical and robust pick-up solutions for various needs.
