Cupra Formentor VZ5: Powerful SUV Now UK-Bound in LHD
Cupra, SEAT's performance sub-brand, has unveiled the Formentor VZ5, a limited-run model with only 7,000 units produced, all left-hand drive. Initially not planned for the UK market, the VZ5 will now be available in this configuration.
The Cupra Formentor VZ5 boasts impressive performance figures. It produces 385bhp from a five-pot engine borrowed from the Audi RS 3, generating 354lb/ft of torque. This power allows it to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 4.2 seconds.
The VZ5 comes equipped with features like Adaptive Chassis Control, Akebono Calipers, and a lowered suspension. Its exterior showcases carbon fibre trim, a new bonnet, bulging arches, 20-inch copper alloys, and a quad exhaust. Inside, drivers will find leather bucket seats and copper-colored interior trim elements.
The Cupra Formentor VZ5, with its powerful engine, sporty features, and distinctive design, is set to make a mark in the performance SUV segment. Despite initially not planned for the UK, its availability in left-hand drive configuration opens up opportunities for enthusiasts.
