Capitolis Appoints Melanie Carucci as Global Head of Sales
Capitolis, a leading fintech company, has announced the appointment of Melanie Carucci as its Global Head of Sales, effective September 15. This move comes as the company experiences strong business momentum and expansion.
Melanie Carucci brings over two decades of experience in sales leadership, commercial relationship management, go-to-market strategy, and new business development to her new role. Before joining Capitolis, she held senior positions at several prominent financial institutions, including the London Stock Exchange Group, Refinitiv, Thomson Reuters, and Thomson Financial. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Account Management at Fidelity National Information Services, where she was responsible for $1.1 billion in revenue across various client segments.
At Capitolis, Carucci will lead the company's global sales strategy, oversee commercial growth, and deepen strategic client relationships. She will report directly to Gil Mandelzis, Founder and CEO of Capitolis. Mandelzis expressed his excitement about Carucci's appointment, stating that her deep expertise in enterprise sales, strategic account management, and go-to-market execution across some of the world's leading financial institutions will be instrumental as Capitolis scales its business and delivers even greater value to its clients.
Carucci holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Clemson University and a Master of Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business. She is a passionate advocate for women's advancement in financial services and has engaged directly with C-level stakeholders to drive and maximize large revenue opportunities and multi-year commercial engagements.
The network of clients using Capitolis' platform has significantly grown, and the company has launched several new solutions over the past year. In addition to Carucci's appointment, Capitolis has also welcomed Financial Services and fintech veteran Amol Naik as its Chief Operating Officer. The company has also received additional strategic bank investments and has acquired Capitalab-BGC Group's Rates Compression and Margin Optimization business to enter the Interest Rate space.
Carucci has expressed her excitement about joining Capitolis and contributing to its growth. With her extensive experience and passion for the financial industry, she is poised to lead Capitolis' sales strategy and help the company continue its trajectory of success.
