Bold Ventures Discovers New Au-Ag-Cu Mineralization in Ontario
Bold Ventures Inc. (TSXV: BOL, OTC:BVLDF) has made an exciting discovery on its Wilcorp Property in Ontario. The company has found a new style of mineralization, consisting of significant Au-Ag-Cu mineralization, which was previously unknown in the area.
The discovery was made on the north side of an ENE-trending lineament in the southeastern part of the property. A 2012 Induced Polarization (I.P.) survey had earlier identified a series of moderate to very strong chargeability anomalies within this lineament. Ongoing washing and channel sampling at Bold's Burchell Project, 100 km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario, has supported this finding.
One grab sample from the new mineralization returned impressive results: 4.3 g/t Au, 277 g/t Ag (8.9 ozt), and 1.8% Cu. This is a significant departure from the previously known orogenic gold mineralization in the area. The mineralization was analyzed using ActLabs methods 1A2-50 and 1F2, with the technical information reviewed and approved by Coleman Robertson, B.Sc., P. Geo., the Vice President of Exploration at Bold Ventures Inc., who is qualified under NI 43-101.
Bold Ventures Inc. continues to explore and develop its Wilcorp Property, with this new discovery opening up potential for a different type of mineralization. The company's ongoing exploration efforts, including washing and channel sampling at the Burchell Project, are expected to provide further insights into the property's mineral potential.
