BCPNP Invites 5 Entrepreneurs in Latest Draw, Lowest Score 115

British Columbia's Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) has invited five entrepreneurs to apply for provincial nomination in its latest draw held on April 15, 2025. This is the third draw of the year targeting entrepreneurs under the Base Stream of the Entrepreneur Immigration category.

The lowest score among the invited candidates was 115 points. To be eligible for the BCPNP Entrepreneur Base Stream, candidates must meet several requirements. They must have a registration score of at least 115 points, a net worth of $600,000, and a minimum language proficiency of CLB 4 or higher. Additionally, they must be willing to invest at least $200,000 into an established or purchased business and own at least one-third of the business or make an equity investment of $1 million. The business must also create at least one full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident in the province.

The BC PNP also offers a regional entrepreneur stream with a lower net worth requirement, encouraging entrepreneurs to establish businesses in participating communities. British Columbia has been prioritizing front-line healthcare workers, high economic impact entrepreneurs, and skilled workers throughout 2025, making significant changes to its Provincial Nominee Program.

In this draw, the BCPNP issued invitations to five candidates, marking the third Base Stream draw of 2025 targeting entrepreneurs. The invited candidates now have the opportunity to apply for provincial nomination, taking a significant step towards permanent residence in British Columbia.
