BBC Launches Beginner's Guide to Generative AI

The BBC has launched a series of four animated videos to help viewers understand and navigate the everyday applications of generative AI. The project, developed by BBC Ideas in collaboration with The Open University and OOF Animation Ltd, is narrated by the BBC's Generative AI team and Technology Editor Zoe Kleinman.

The series covers a range of topics, including AI chatbots, AI in daily life, AI scams, and AI in student homework. Each video aims to demystify these areas for viewers with little to no prior experience with AI tools.

Bethan Jinkinson, Executive Editor at BBC Ideas, shared the launch on LinkedIn and invited feedback from viewers. The project is part of the BBC's ongoing efforts to inform and educate audiences about emerging technologies.

The BBC's generative AI video series is now available to watch. It provides a beginner-friendly introduction to AI tools and their impact on daily life. Viewers are encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences with the series.
