Baltimore Ravens Depart from their Old Tech Companion and Join Forces with a New Tech Ally
The Baltimore Ravens are transforming M&T Bank Stadium, partnering with LG Electronics USA and sports entertainment agency ANC to modernize the stadium and enhance the gameday experience for Baltimore's passionate fanbase.
At the heart of this transformation is a significant upgrade to the stadium's video display boards and televisions. Over 12,000 square feet of LG digital signage screens will be installed, including more than 100 concourse televisions replaced with larger LG screens.
Jerry Cifarelli Jr., ANC president and CEO, expressed his excitement about the transformation, stating, 'This is a tremendous transformation for the stadium's experience.'
One of the most notable additions will be a 216-foot video display at Gate A, surpassing the stadium's current RavensVision board in size. This new visual landmark will welcome fans as they enter the stadium.
Inside the stadium, fine-pitch LED signage is being installed across all field-level clubs. Fans entering the North and South clubs will be greeted by towering video walls, while the South Club features an additional sweeping curved display.
The modernization extends to the stadium's plazas and gates, with refreshed displays installed to improve fan flow. A 2300 square meter transparent Mesh LED display at the facade of the Northwest Plaza of M&T Bank Stadium will be installed in the fall of 2023. After the 2025 season, an additional 2,300-square-foot transparent mesh LED display will be added to the northwest plaza.
The hospitality village is also being modernized with new digital signage. As part of the partnership, the Ravens have named LG Electronics USA as their 'Official Home Appliance and Television Partner' for the 2025 and 2026 NFL seasons.
Beyond the physical upgrades, the partnership between the Ravens, LG, and ANC includes digital marketing, unique fan engagement promotions, and giveaways like LG OLED TVs. A monthly 'Most Reliable Player' social series is part of the fan engagement promotions.
The Ravens' stadium upgrades, in collaboration with LG and ANC, aim to deliver an unparalleled gameday experience for fans. The partnership is a true win-win-win for everyone involved, promising a brighter, more engaging future for M&T Bank Stadium. The upgrades are expected to be completed over the next 18 months.
