Aviaition-inspired aesthetic of Bell & Ross elevated as brand introduces the BR-X3 model
New Release: Bell & Ross's BR-X3 - A Reimagined Aviation Watch
Bell & Ross has unveiled its latest creation, the BR-X3, a reinterpretation of their flagship aviation watch. This timepiece, available in two distinct configurations - Blue Steel and Black Titanium - blends the aesthetic of a spacecraft instrument panel with that of a high-end racing component.
The BR-X3 is housed in a metallic frame, showcasing Bell & Ross's signature X-shaped layout. The internal structure features a cylindrical barrel, housing the movement sandwiched between decorative pillars. The case is constructed from separate top and bottom plates, connected by visible corner screws.
At the heart of the BR-X3 is the BR-CAL.323 manufacture movement, developed in partnership with Kenissi, the same movement house supplying Tudor. This automatic movement is COSC-certified and delivers a substantial 70-hour power reserve.
The dial is topped with a rhodium-plated or micro-blasted metallic frame, depending on the edition. The base of the dial has either sunray blue or matte black varnish. Both versions of the BR-X3 retain the timepiece's crown guard, sapphire crystals front and back, and 100m water resistance.
The Blue Steel edition features satin-finished stainless steel and anodized aluminum blue accents, while the Black Titanium variant is made of micro-blasted Grade 2 titanium with DLC-coated crown guards.
The dial of the BR-X3 features a three-plate system. Both the date window and power reserve indicator are framed by generous applications of green-glowing Super-LumiNova X1, ensuring clarity in low-light conditions. The elongated date window at 3 o'clock and power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock are logically organized on the dial.
The BR-X3 collection is now available through Bell & Ross retailers and bellross.com. The Blue Steel edition is priced at $7,200, and the Black Titanium variant is priced at $8,300.
In summary, the BR-X3 is a bold and innovative timepiece that pushes the boundaries of design and craftsmanship. Whether you're a fan of aviation watches or simply appreciate a well-designed timepiece, the BR-X3 is worth a closer look.
