Audio equipment manufacturer HK Audio introduces the LINEAR 9 Long Throw Package, a product tailored for professional touring artists.
The HK Audio LINEAR 9 Long Throw Pack is a versatile and powerful sound system designed for touring professionals and rental firms. This scalable system configuration comes equipped with two LINEAR 9 210 LTA mid/high units and six LINEAR 9 118 Sub BA subwoofers, providing high SPL (sound pressure level) performance, extended horizontal coverage, and long-throw precision.
The LINEAR 9 210 LTA units, the most powerful in the series, feature a constant-curvature design for dispersion across the horizontal plane and are ideal for clustered arrays and quick rigging. The LINEAR 9 118 Sub BA subwoofers deliver deep, powerful bass, making them a perfect complement to the mid/high units.
The system is designed for extended horizontal coverage and long-throw sound projection, making it suitable for large venues or outdoor events. It offers a balance between throw, flexibility, and simplicity, ensuring easy deployment and reliable performance under demanding conditions.
All components in the LINEAR 9 range can be controlled via HK Audio's DSP CONTROL software, which enables remote access to EQ, delay, limiter, mute, and preset settings. The DSP OUT feature allows for non-networked speakers to be integrated into the same setup and receive uniform DSP processing. The full system can be managed from the FOH position via a network connection using EtherCon.
HK Audio has also announced that all LINEAR 9 models can be upgraded for MILAN audio networking compatibility with a free firmware update released in May 2025. This upgrade will further enhance the system's flexibility and versatility.
