Astronergy Powers Qilian Mountain Park with 100% Clean Energy

Astronergy has inaugurated a photovoltaic self-consumption system in the Qilian Mountain National Park, aiming to generate clean power and reduce carbon emissions. The system, part of the third phase of the Clean Parks and WWF ecological co-conservation program, is expected to meet 100% of electric vehicle usage and 50% of other needs within the park.

The system, comprising 75 Astronergy n-type TOPCon PV modules, is now operational at the park's long-term national research base. It includes a Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) charger, enabling electric vehicles to store excess energy and feed it back into the grid when needed.

Samuel Zhang, CMO at Astronergy, inaugurated the system, highlighting the company's commitment to biodiversity and green power generation. Although the name of the leader who participated in the inauguration is not available, Astronergy's dedication to promoting PV technology innovation and supporting green transformation is clear. The system is estimated to reduce carbon emissions by around 53 tons annually.

The newly installed photovoltaic self-consumption system in the Qilian Mountain National Park is set to generate approximately 670,000 kWh of clean power annually. This not only satisfies the park's electric vehicle usage but also covers half of its other energy needs. Astronergy's initiative is a significant step towards promoting green and low-carbon transformation and contributing to biodiversity conservation.
