While Razer's Wyvrn platform came with a hefty dose of AI, the real game-changer is their AI gaming coach, previously known as Project Ava, rebranded as Razer AI Game Copilot.

In typical Razer fashion, the AI Game Copilot is versatile, serving as everything from an esports coach to a virtual sidekick in solo gaming adventures. It can study your game in real-time, giving tailored advice and strategies to help you dominate, offering invaluable tips like when to roll during a boss fight, an enemy's weak points, or the location of key items.

Last week, our website previewed Razer's AI Game Copilot, and it looks just as impressive as the demo at CES, rocking a British accent ready to save you from getting your butt kicked in a boss fight.

While I'm all for AI streamlining and simplifying my day-to-day tasks, there are some things I'd rather keep human, and enjoying my games is one of them. AI coaches might be exciting, but they feel like they're treading on my leisure time.

Sure, I've turned to Google for help with tricky gaming challenges, but it's not my first move when I'm stuck or frustrated. I prefer figuring things out myself, even if that means struggling through Death Stranding's tedious gameplay.

I wonder, though, how AI coaches will be received by the gaming community at large. I might just be old and out of touch, but I'd wager that AI coaches will be met with skepticism instead of open arms.
