Apple advances environmental business initiatives with the second group in its Impact Accelerator program
In a commitment to a greener world, Apple's Impact Accelerator programme has welcomed 16 Black-, Hispanic/Latinx-, and Indigenous-owned businesses focused on environmental services and solutions. These companies, hailing from across North America, are set to receive training, mentorship, and potential business opportunities as they work towards their shared goal.
One of the participating companies, Sealaska, based in Juneau, AK, is a nature-based solutions lead company providing expertise in programming, market advice, and a deep understanding of the growing opportunities in the NBS marketplace. Sealaska prides itself on being community-owned and community-focused, working towards fostering economic prosperity and environmental protection.
RENUoil of America, based in Las Vegas, NV, is another participant. This sustainability and recycling company offers outlets for various waste streams for its hospitality clients and manages over 7 million pounds of waste per week. RENUoil is committed to creating an environmentally friendly future that's inclusive to all.
Sagiliti, based in Excelsior, MN, transforms utility data into environmental action. The company helps its clientele achieve resource efficiency that encourages both profitability and corporate responsibility.
Slater Infrastructure Group, based in Alpharetta, GA, is a water stewardship company that provides strategic solutions focusing on addressing environmental justice through remediation. The company also offers zero-waste services for venues and events across Las Vegas.
