Anticipated Pricing for Google's Pixel 10 Series Unveiled Prior to August Debut: Here Are the Estimated Costs You May Encounter
The tech world is abuzz with anticipation as Google prepares to unveil its new generation flagship devices, the Pixel 10 series, on August 20. The event will mark the global debut of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL, with the foldable model, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, expected to launch later in October.
Rumours and leaks have been circulating regarding the potential specifications and real-life images of these devices. However, the exact details about the Pixel 10 series, beyond the launch date and prices, have not been confirmed yet.
The Pixel 10 series is expected to feature camera upgrades, performance improvements, and display enhancements. The Pixel 10 base model is rumoured to start at $799 for 128GB storage, while the Pixel 10 Pro 1TB version is rumoured to cost $1,449 (approx. Rs 1,26,900). The Pixel 10 Pro XL is rumoured to cost $999 (approx. Rs 87,500) for the base model, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold 256GB base variant is expected to cost $1,799 (approx. Rs 1,57,600).
Preorders for the Pixel 10 series started on August 20, with availability mostly from August 28 except for the foldable model, which is expected to launch on October 9. Several carriers and retailers are offering value-packed trade-in and bundled deals for buyers. For instance, T-Mobile offers "Pixel 10 on Us" on most plans, effectively giving the phone for free with eligible plans. AT&T is offering up to $1,100 off with trade-in and new line, while Verizon and Xfinity Mobile have promotions including free phones or up to $1,000 off with trade-ins. Retailers like Amazon and Best Buy provide free gift cards and trade-in credits with purchase.
In addition to the devices, Google is also rumoured to offer bundled offers for the Pixel 10 series. These may include a 6-month Fitbit Premium subscription and a 3-month YouTube Premium subscription. There are also rumours that the Pixel 10 series may come with a free six-month subscription to the Google AI Pro plan, which offers AI tools and 2TB Google One Storage.
