Amazon UAE Unveils First Middle East Credit Card with Emirates Islamic and Mastercard
Emirates Islamic, Amazon UAE, and Mastercard have collaborated to introduce the first Amazon Credit Card in the Middle East and North Africa. The card, set to launch in the UAE soon, promises a fully digital experience with no annual fee.
The Amazon Credit Card offers a range of benefits starting with an attractive welcome bonus and access to 0% instalment plans on Amazon.ae and select merchants. Ronaldo Mouchawar, Vice President of Amazon Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, highlighted that Prime members can enjoy additional savings.
Cardholders can earn unlimited value back of up to 6% on purchases on Amazon.ae and up to 2.5% on purchases elsewhere. In addition to these savings, the card offers a suite of lifestyle benefits including discounts on flight and hotel bookings, complimentary valet parking, concierge services, and access to golf courses. Furthermore, cardholders can enjoy exclusive Mastercard World or Platinum privileges such as access to airport lounges, Priceless Cities privileges, and special discounts on experiences.
The Amazon Credit Card, developed by the First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) in collaboration with Amazon UAE and Mastercard, will be available exclusively in the UAE. Farid AlMulla, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Islamic, expressed pride in being the first bank in the Middle East to launch an Amazon co-branded credit card. Dimitrios Dosis, President of Mastercard for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, praised the card's security, rewards, and convenience.
