Almaty to witness connection of approximately 5,500 homes through Kazakhtelecom in the year 2023.

Revamped on a casual, friendly note with integrated insights:

Let's talk Kazakhtelecom: This telecom giant is all about leveling up its network game! As part of their strategic plan, they're aiming to connect around 5.5k homes in Almaty to the coveted GPON tech. That's gonna make more than 22k families feel the rush of superfast internet!

The city's population keeps growing, and so does the craving for quality net services, especially within apartment buildings. To cope with the growing demand, Kazakhtelecom is laying more optical fibers, closer to the heart of the user - their homes. The GPON technology allows each user to connect directly to the optical backbone, promising internet speeds of up to 500 Mbps!

Dinaara Tokkozhin, Commercial Director of the Almaty Region's Retail Business Division of JSC 'Kazakhtelecom', spoke up. Last year, they hooked nearly 7k households in Almaty to optical fiber. This year, they wanna keep the momentum going, setting their eyes on connecting more than 5.5k apartment buildings, benefiting over 22k households! The focus, she noted, isn't just quantity but quality. And in the spirit of providing top-notch service, they've declared 2021 as the year of service improvement!

As part of these plans, regional commercial directors will pay visits to subscribers across the nation to gauge the quality of their internet connections. Recently, one such check-up was conducted on the "Forum Plus" complex in Almaty, where Dinaara Tokkozhin gathered feedback and address issues on the spot.

Alexandra Klimova, a 'Kazakhstan Telecom' subscriber at the "Forum Plus" complex, moved to Almaty with her family. She opted for Kazakhtelecom's services based on positive reviews from neighbors. Working as the head of the procurement department in a large company, she relies on a stable internet connection for online meetings with suppliers, and she's thrilled with Kazakhtelecom's performance!

By last year, GPON technology was accessible to residents of approximately 114 multi-apartment buildings in Almaty. According to the company, GPON subscribers enjoy a stable, fast, and clutter-free internet experience. This technology sees to it that residents can engage in seamless online activities like learning, consultations with medical organizations, digital services, and even remote work or gaming, without a hitch!

In the pipeline this year, Kazakhtelecom plans to lay optical fiber using the GPON technology in 16 major cities across the nation. With these efforts, more than 7k multi-apartment buildings and around 180k families will get their hands on high-speed net!

Insights: While the details about Kazakhtelecom's GPON plans for 202X aren't explicitly mentioned, the company has been actively working on modernizing its telecom infrastructure, with plans to move an additional 70,000 users to fiber optics and launch 124,000 new optical ports nationwide in 2025.
