Airbus Opens Perth Hub to Boost WA Helicopter Support
Airbus Helicopters has launched its Western Australia Distribution Platform in Perth. The facility, inaugurated by Executive Vice President Romain Trapp, will serve as a critical support hub for offshore and energy customers, especially those operating in the North West Shelf.
The new parts centre, strategically located near Perth Airport for swift customs clearance and delivery, spans 500 square metres initially, with room to expand up to 1,500 square metres. This expansion aims to ensure faster, more efficient service for all Airbus helicopter platforms across Western Australia.
The facility is part of Airbus Helicopters' commitment to building a responsive, locally embedded support network in Australia. It will support all Airbus helicopter types, further expanding the company's Australian footprint.
The Western Australia Distribution Platform in Perth is set to enhance Airbus Helicopters' support for its customers in the region. With its strategic location and potential for expansion, the facility promises improved service efficiency, benefiting both offshore and energy customers, particularly those operating in the North West Shelf.
