Dubai-Based AI Startup Qeen.ai Secures $10 Million Seed Funding

Qeen.ai, a Dubai-based AI startup that automates e-commerce tasks using autonomous AI agents, has raised $10 million in a seed funding round. The round, which was led by Prosus Ventures and Wamda Capital, is one of the largest in the MENA region to date.

Launched in 2023, Qeen.ai has made significant strides in the e-commerce automation sector. Since the launch of its Dynamic Content agent in Q2 2024, the startup has served over 15 million users and generated more than 1 million SKU descriptions.

The fresh funds will be used to expand the platform's capabilities, scale the team, and grow the customer base. Qeen.ai's AI agents autonomously execute e-commerce tasks such as content creation, marketing, and conversational sales, helping merchants achieve a 30 percent increase in sales.

Founded by Morteza Ibrahimi, Ahmad Khwileh, and Dina Alsamhan, former Google and DeepMind colleagues, Qeen.ai is recognized as a generative AI startup offering autonomous AI solutions. The involvement of experienced investors such as Wamda—which has a strong regional presence and has supported many successful Middle Eastern startups—adds credibility and growth momentum to Qeen.ai's trajectory.

The seed round also saw participation from 10x Founders and Dara Holdings. This is the first time Prosus is leading a seed round in the region. The funding is intended to help Qeen.ai scale its platform and expand its agentic AI capabilities for e-commerce businesses of all sizes.

With the new funding, Qeen.ai is well-positioned to significantly impact online retail operations and position itself as a leader in the e-commerce AI automation sector. The startup's total funding now stands at $12 million.

Qeen.ai, fueled by a recent $10 million seed funding round, aims to leverage artificial-intelligence technology to enhance its platform's capabilities and expand its agentic AI solutions for e-commerce tasks such as content creation, marketing, and conversational sales. This growth, led by experienced investors like Prosus Ventures and Wamda Capital, positions Qeen.ai as a promising contender in the artificial-intelligence-driven e-commerce automation sector.
