Advertising prospects opening up with new supplier on ESP Web platform
The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) has announced a series of new features and improvements in ESP Web, the industry's leading sourcing and marketing platform. These changes are designed to help suppliers promote their products more effectively and boost sales.
Rich Fairfield, ASI's publisher and executive vice president, stated that these new features utilize the latest web marketing strategies. They are intended to put suppliers' brands in front of distributors, with over 35,000 paid users employing ESP to access every product from 3,200 reputable ASI suppliers and to market products to end-buyers.
One of the key changes is the simplified user interface and updated product results screen. Hovering over a top seller listing in ESP Web now reveals a supplier-selected product image, ASI number, and supplier name. Suppliers can sell their products exclusively as one of the monthly list of top sellers highlighted by black, bold text.
ESP Web also offers pay for placement on the top seven spots in any category, and the latest system upgrade introduces trigger marketing and supplier specials. When a distributor clicks on a product detail page, ESP Web now triggers the automatic emailing of a supplier's pre-set offer.
These new opportunities aim to help suppliers boost sales, and they are a result of feedback from supplier members and performance focus groups at ASI shows. The analysis of usage patterns in ESP Web has also played a significant role in the development of these new features.
ESP Web runs on standard Internet browsers, including Explorer, Firefox, Apple's Safari, and Google Chrome, making it accessible to a wide audience. The new features in ESP Web have dramatically increased the speed at which distributors can service clients, further enhancing its appeal.
The new advertising opportunities in ESP Web were introduced by Ingram Micro through the role of Marketing Development Manager. These changes are part of ASI's ongoing efforts to provide the best possible service to its supplier members and to help them increase their sales.
