Advertising partnership between Whale TV and ThePubverse in the MENA region announced
Whale TV, a leading independent TV operating system, has announced a significant partnership with ThePubverse, a division of ArabyAds. This alliance aims to revolutionize the way consumers explore entertainment, offering a more personalized experience through AI-powered recommendations.
The partnership grants ThePubverse exclusive rights to Whale TV's display and video advertising inventory across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, and Egypt. This collaboration offers regional and international advertisers an opportunity to reach millions of households across MENA in brand-safe, high-quality, data-driven CTV environments.
Chris Hock, Vice President of Whale TV Ads, expressed his excitement, stating that the partnership represents a natural alignment between two companies driving the future of Connected TV (CTV). Ayman Haydar, CEO of ThePubverse, echoed this sentiment, stating that the partnership significantly expands possibilities for advertisers in MENA.
In addition to the partnership, Whale TV has announced an update to its independent TV OS, named Whale OS 10. This update features a content-first UX design with fewer menu levels, enabling consumers to navigate to their favorite TV shows seamlessly.
Michael Wang, a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in media and technology, has been appointed to Whale TV's Board of Directors. Wang will also serve as Chair of the company's newly formed Strategic Partnership Committee.
The rollout of Whale OS 10 will begin this quarter. Existing Whale TV partners, accounting for 43 million monthly active TVs, will be among the first to gain access. The partnership is now live, with inventory and campaign management available through ThePubverse.
Moreover, Whale TV has introduced a Whale TV Profit Sharing program. This program allows brands to execute both awareness and performance-oriented campaigns at scale.
Whale TV licenses its TV operating system to over 400 television brands worldwide, including Philips, Westinghouse, JVC, Telefunken, RCA, MAGNAVOX, Dixon, and others. The partnership with ThePubverse now provides ThePubverse with access to Whale TV's extensive global network of 44 million monthly active televisions, making it a leading CTV enabler in MENA.
With these exciting developments, Whale TV continues to push the boundaries of CTV, offering a more personalized and enjoyable viewing experience for consumers while providing advertisers with a unique opportunity to reach their target audience.
